Join us to learn about how 4 powerhouse beauty founders Jamika Martin (Founder and CEO, ROSEN Skincare), Leila Kashani (Founder and CEO, Alleyoop), Lillian Tung (Co-founder and CMO, Fur) and Laura Schubert (Co-founder and CEO, Fur) bootstrapped their beauty businesses on their hustle and savings alone. If you're an aspiring beauty, wellness or skincare founder or are currently bootstrapping a business - regardless of industry - this panel is for you.

More on these incredible panelists:

Jamika Martin is the CEO and Founder of ROSEN Skincare, a modern, clean skincare business for people with acne-prone skin. Jamika, who dealt with acne most of her life, started ROSEN fresh out of college with zero outside financing - but with a big dream and a lot of grit. A few years later, ROSEN is now sold at Target, Nordstrom, dozens of indie retailers around the United States, and Urban Outfitters. ROSEN is still a fully bootstrapped business that has amassed a massive following due to its unique take on acne care, passionate community, and, well.... its highly effective products. I use ROSEN's smoothie cleanser and tropics toner regularly. These products *will change your skin for good.*

Lillian Tung is the Co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer of Fur, a brand dedicated to comfort and care for all skin and hair. Lillian started her career in corporate beauty, rising in the ranks at places like L'Oreal and getting her MBA from Columbia Business School. After her friend, Laura, introduced her to a small Fur oil sample at a party, Lillian was hooked, and agreed to come on as Co-founder and CMO. Using just their savings and revenues from the business, Laura and Lillian grew Fur without any outside funding. Fur is now sold at Blue Mercury, Ulta, and hundreds of retailers nationwide.

Laura Schubert is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Fur, a brand dedicated to comfort and care for all skin and hair. Laura similarly got her MBA from Columbia University and began her career in consulting. Realizing a massive gap in the market for pubic and body hair care, Laura conceptualized Fur, a gentle-yet-effective skincare company that could nurture every nook and cranny. Laura bootstrapped Fur alongside Lillian and has established Fur as a cult-beloved brand with celebrities like Emma Watson and publications like Vogue, Goop, and dozens more.

Leila Kashani is the Founder and CEO of Alleyoop, the definitive skincare and makeup brand for women on the go. Leila spent much of her career in research and development at a toy company, and, while working full-time, created a prototype for an on-the-go razor that kickstarter her beauty journey. After scaling up production of the razor and ultimately landing a massive wholesale deal with Ulta Beauty, Leila decided to build a full-blown brand committed to helping busy women look and feel great, even on the move. Leila bootstrapped Alleyoop before raising a formal round of venture financing. Leila and Alleyoop are all about efficiency, and uses recycled materials and other sustainable practices to power production and the business at large.

Lisa Hart is a Senior Product Marketing Lead at Shopify and leads marketing at Regimen Lab. Lisa started her career in advertising, where she worked on global brands like IKEA and was selected as one of Marketing Magazine's 30 under 30. Lisa has always been passionate about skincare, known among her friends as the skincare guru. Naturally, a friend introduced her to a startup making science-first skincare out of their basement in Toronto, Canada. What has now become Regimen Lab is already growing a cult following launching only 6 months ago, taking off with zero dollars spent on paid advertising or marketing.
